Tucker’s mixed media works possess a profound duality, highlighting the integral relationship between the base material on which he paints, and the subject depicted on the surface. His works are a palimpsest of found materials, layered with numerous mediums including charcoal, watercolor, graphite, resin, ink, and oil.
